Get Out: Six Things to Do This Weekend

  • Heritage Sandy Springs Beer Fest

Back for its second year, the  Beer Fest, on the Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn at Heritage Green, will feature over 70 international, American and local beers, food and live music. Must be over 21. No outside food or drinks and no pets. $25 in advance, $35 at the door for beer tasting and souvenir pint glass. Food and non-alcoholic beverages available at extra cost. 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday.

  • Bela Fleck and Bruce Hornsby

Fan of bluegrass won’t want to miss this concert at Chastain Park featuring not only banjo star and Bela Fleck with the Flecktones, but also Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers. 7 p.m., Friday.

  • North Springs Charter High School Football

Don’t miss a preview of 2011 North Springs varsity football season with the Jamboree game featuring North Springs at home against Wheeler High School. 7:30 p.m., Friday.
