Local Baseball Players Sign Letters of Intent, One May Go Pro

Three Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School baseball players have signed letters of intent to play college baseball. Howard Joe of Dunwoody, plans to play for Mercer University in Macon beginning in 2012-13. Atlanta’s Skye Bolt has signed with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Jake Maziar, also of Atlanta, is headed to Wake Forest University.

, according to the school, and may go straight to the pros. Baseball America, ESPN High School Sports and Perfect Game have listed him as one of the nation’s top prospects in this year’s big league draft.
