5 Things This Weekend: Fun Includes Dads Race, Comedian Dom Irrera

It's part of the Great Prostate Cancer Challenge taking place in 34 cities across the country, will feature a 5K run, a 1 mile walk, random prizes and runner goodies at 8 a.m., Saturday, outside Costco, 6350 Peachtree Dunwoody Road. Register online or at Phidippides, 220 Sandy Springs Circle, Friday. Race day registration will be from 6:30am-7:30am at the event. $30.

  Enjoy selected screenings of classics, festival favorites and overlooked second chances on the big screen at Lefont Theaters. This new series of film is intended to engage the community in developing a sense of appreciation in preserving the relationship between cinema and audience. Concerts by the Springs. The Swingin' Medallions perform their re-scheduled show at 7:30 p.m., Father's Day, at Heritage Green.
