5 Things to do This Weekend: Artsapalooza, Music, Theater and Comedy

Sandy Springs happenings include a weekend art festival at former Target site.

 

  • Artsapalooza. The weekend art festival features art, crafts, gourmet food and children’s activities. 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday at the former Target site at 174 Johnson Ferry Road. Free admission. Benefits Georgia Foundation for Public Spaces scholarship fund for local artists.
  • Stand-up comedy. Kenny Rogerson performs at The Punchline through Sunday. Visit the website for showtimes and prices.
  • The Jacksons: Unity Tour 2012. Singing their classic Jackson Five tunes, the brothers perform at 8 p.m., Sunday at Chastain Park Amphitheatre. Visit Live Nation for tickets.
  • Play: "By Wheel and By Wing."  Act 3 presents a musical set in 1941 and based on the from Europe during World War II. 8 p.m., Friday; 2 and 8 p.m., Saturday. $20-$28.
  • Ask the Gardener. If you're hoping to get a garden started this summer, here's a chance for expert tips and a tour of the in Roswell. All ages welcome. Free.
