In continuation of Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat month, we are highlighting a longer-term kitty resident named Muffin this week.
This sweet girl is a domestic shorthair mix with a tortoise shell coat and is just over two-years-old. Little Muffin has been residing at the Atlanta Humane Society for three months now and is looking for a chance to show someone what a great family member she could be.
Muffin is initially timid and reserved, but she enjoys being petted under her chin and is a very chatty lady. This little one is always ready with a cheerful meow. She does appreciate some of the finer things in life, especially canned cat food. Muffin would do best in a home without small children that would understand her shy nature and be willing to give her plenty of time to adjust to life in a home. Currently she resides in a cat community room and does well with her fellow kitty residents.
Muffin has been vaccinated, micro-chipped, dewormed, spayed and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Her adoption fee is $85.
Muffin is ready to meet you and find her future family. If you are interested in meeting Muffin, come by the Atlanta Humane Society’s Mansell Campus located at 1565 Mansell Road, Alpharetta. Bring your whole family so Muffin can meet and play with them. An adoption application can be filled out at this location or contact them at 404-875-5331.
