Photos: Boy Scouts Mark 200 Storm Drains With 'No Dumping' Stickers

In a public service the Boy Scouts Troop 467 marked storm drains throughout Sandy Springs.

 

With the help of Boy Scouts Troop 467, the City of Sandy Springs labeled 200 storm drains with “No Dumping, Drains to River," on Friday.

The makers are intended to help increase public awareness, reduce stormwater pollution, and improve water quality.

There are more than 6,000 storm drains that flow into 1,300 waterway locations within Sandy Springs.
