Fewer Than Expected Show for Free Thanksgiving Dinner

In a new Thanksgiving tradition, Sandy Springs' B's Bistro planned to serve 100 free meals.

 

owners Buz and Debra Psathas started a tradition, this year, of serving free meals for Thanksgiving. Prepared to serve 100 dinners, only 43 folks showed.

Next year, the couple plans to spread the word early to draw a larger crowd.

Buz Psathas told Patch he was inspired by a Hilton Head restaurant that feeds the hungry every Thanksgiving. When he opened B’s Bistro earlier this year, he told Debra that he wanted to do the same.
