Rotarian Vows to Donate $100 Monthly to Aimee Copeland Fund

During the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs luncheon on June 4, Richard Allen said Andy Copeland remains the happiest father in the world and says that the millions of prayers for his daughter are working.

 

During last week’s Rotary Club of Sandy Springs luncheon, Richard Allen encouraged fellow Rotarians to contribute to the Aimee Copeland Fund.

Allen and Andy Copeland, Aimee’s father, are members of the South Gwinnett Rotary Club.

“He is an amazing person,” said Allen in describing Andy Copeland’s optimism for Aimee’s recovery.

Prayers from across the country have gone out to 24-year-old Aimee since her accident from a break in a homemade zip line on May 1. Aimee has suffered from a flesh eating bacteria and remains in critical condition. She has under gone multiple amputations.

Allen said Andy Copeland remains the happiest father in the world and says that the millions of prayers for Aimee are working.

Copeland plans to donate $100 per month to The Aimee Copeland Fund, and would like to inspire at least 1,000 people to do the same.
