"Brighton Beach Memoirs" by Neil Simon runs through Sunday at Act3 Playhouse. The classic coming-of-age comedy introduces audiences to the witty Eugene Jerome, a 15-year-old Polish-Jewish boy growing up in Brooklyn, NY in the heart of the Great Depression. Said to be Simon’s most autobiographical work, the play follows Eugene’s misadventures as he goes through puberty in an over-crowded house.

The play features Rachel Epstein, a senior at Riverwood International Charter School, as Nora Morton.

Performances will be held at the Act3 Playhouse, 6285-R Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. Tickets range from $10 to $23 and may be purchased at www.act3productions.org.  Performances are 8 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and at 3 p.m., Sunday
