Act3 Productions present 'Brighton Beach Memoirs' by Neil Simon, this month. The classic coming-of-age comedy introduces audiences to the witty Eugene Jerome, a 15-year-old boy growing up in Brooklyn in the heart of the Great Depression.

Said to be Simon's most autobiographical work, the play follows Eugene's misadventures as he goes through puberty in an over-crowded house.

Performances run Jan. 23 to Feb. 2 at the Sandy Springs playhouse, 6285-R Roswell Road. Tickets are $10-$23 and can be purchased at www.act3productions.org
