Big Trees Forest Preserve
Big Trees Forest Preserve is a tree, plant and wildlife sanctuary open for public enjoyment and education. It features two creeks and a number of white oak trees that are more than a century old. Once a threatened wild area in a highly developed section of Sandy Springs, Big Trees is now a place for people to walk, learn and relax in a natural Georgia habitat. Leashed dogs are welcome, and donations are always accepted.
