Too many of us fail to appreciate the fact that opportunities for education diminish rapidly beyondRead More college or grad/professional school. Too, demands of family and career make it difficult to pursue such opportunities as may be available. As a result, beyond what we learn re:family affairs and career/profession we learn very little once our formal educations terminate. History, Anthropology, Paleontology, the Sciences, Literature, Music, and the Arts... What we take away of these from our formal education is pretty much all we take to the grave. In short, we die understanding little more of these than we did upon the evening of our Senior Proms. This is a terrifying thought. It is great tribute to Mr. Chaloux that he appreciated the importance of Adult Education and worked to advance its opportunities. He made a difference.
