Kudzu Antiques to Open 2nd Location
The Decatur business will add a store at the former Red Baron Auctions space in Sandy Springs.
Kudzu Antique Market in Decatur, a long-time favorite for shoppers hunting vintage furniture and collectibles, will open a second store in Sandy Springs in mid-October. The 35,000 square foot space is in the former Red Baron Auctions on Roswell Road. “People have been saying for years they wish we’d open a second location,” said George Lawes, who co-owns the Decatur store at 2928 E. Ponce de Leon Ave. with his wife Kate. Lawes said he expects the location near the Perimeter to be a popular destination for antique shoppers north of Atlanta. The new location is currently under renovation and will open in two phases.
