Humane Society Wants You to Adopt Sweet, Spunky Becca

This extremely playful cat enjoys snuggly beds and is ready to take home.

This week the Atlanta Humane Society wants to highlight our sweet, spunky Becca. Becca is a seven month old, domestic shorthair mix with the prettiest tabby coat. Her markings are very unique with a grey and orange tabby pattern alternating with solid white. Becca is very loving and enjoys snuggly beds and toys. She is extremely playful and would love to find a home committed to spending time playing with her. Becca can be a little shy initially but once she warms up she is spunky and cheerful. Becca would prefer to be the only cat in your home because she is not comfortable with other cats. She promises to bring plenty of love and playful enthusiasm into your home! This little lady has been living with the Atlanta Humane Society since …

In frigid temperatures, cats keep warm by grouping together or they may find a crawl space under a house, said Dr. Jay M. Empel, co-owner of Vernon Woods Animal Hospital. Last week, Sandy Springs Patch told you about Annabelle, a timid miniature Pinscher; Fuzzy, an orange and white patchy boy cat and three other lovable kitties looking for homes at Vernon Woods Animal Hospital. Annabelle and Fuzzy owners’ gave them away. Hospital staff found the others. It’s not uncommon for stray or abandoned pets to land at veterinarian hospitals or pet businesses.  Owner or citizens may leave them at their doorsteps, or …
