It’s hard to get enthusiastic about tax day, as our lackluster Readers' Choice poll results indicated this week. Or maybe all of you have already done your taxes and you didn't feel like weighing in on where to go for last-minute help. So this week, we've decided not to award a winner. Sandy Springs Education Force shines this week for its focus enriching public school students with numerous activities.
We had few responses in this week’s Reader’s Choice poll on the best after-school programs. Still, the Sandy Springs Education Force shines this week for its focus on enriching public school students with numerous activities. Mayor Eva Galambos honored the SSEF with a City Proclamation during this week’s City Council meeting. The organization has partnered with Art Sandy Springs and Friends of Sandy Springs Library for the “Sandy Springs Reads” program. Our poll choices for after-school activities includes, gymnastics at Hammond Park, martial arts at Hammond Park, the Sandy Springs Mission, and the Sandy Springs Library.

The sport is a popular draw for girls and increasingly so among boys. The gymnastics program is run by the City of Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks department.
