Château Élan Winery & Resort Celebrates 17th Annual Vineyard Fest

Château Élan Winery & Resort’s Annual Vineyard Fest celebration is scheduled for Sunday, August 25th, 2013. It is a widely anticipated and revered local event among wine and food lovers in the Atlanta area.

The all-inclusive tickets are $75 per person and the festivities will include: tastings of over 100 national and international wines and 40 craft beers, a locally harvested food tent, cooking and wine seminars, live jazz music played by The League of Decency, grape stomping and more.

 Domestic and international wines will be available for tastings in the air conditioned Pavilion and Cask Room. The international wines hail from Argentina, France, Spain, Italy, and Germany, Australia and New Zealand. In addition to locally produced Georgia wines, there will be regional wines from California, New York, Washington, Oregon, Virginia, and North Carolina. Along with the wine tastings, more than 40 craft beer samples will be offered from several well-respected local breweries.  

A variety of locally farmed and harvested dishes will be featured to represent a delicious sampling of menu choices from Château Élan’s seven restaurants. Cooking seminars hosted by Chateau Élan’s Executive Chef Bradley Czajka and other local guest chefs will be offered during the afternoon. Château Élan winemaker Simone Bergese will be teaching a class about the winemaking process at Château Élan. Classes will also be held on craft beers and international wines by industry experts. Tastings of locally produced cheese, jams, charcuteries, honeys, butters and other gourmet samplings will be available throughout the day.

Guests must be 21 years or older to participate in wine tastings. Château Élan is also offering overnight packages for guests who would like to enjoy the other activities the resort offers.
