North Fulton Charities Starts Warm Coat Drive

Donations are being collected through Oct. 30 at five locations nearby Sandy Springs.

Thanks to Vonda Malbrough, director of development at North Fulton Charities, for sending along details of the warm coat drive that's just underay, including dropoff locations in the area:

North Fulton Community Charities(NFCC) is collecting new and gently used coats and accessories for adults and children. Last year we were able to provide over 300 families living in North Fulton with coats, jackets, scarves, mittens and caps for every member of the family.

For these families, every day brings new challenges, new struggles, and new disparities in job searching, government programs, and solutions to a frightening economy.

We are asking you to please bring your new and gently used coats, jackets and accessories to one  of our drop off location partners:

Alpharetta United Methodist Church

69 N. Main St, Alpharetta

Crabapple First Baptist Church

Roswell Presbyterian Church

755 Mimosa Blvd, Roswell

Temple Kehillat Chaim

NFCC Office

We are accepting donations through October 30th

Warm Coat distribution day is scheduled for November 2nd
