Bar Shooting Suspect Considered Armed and Dangerous Fugitive

Sandy Springs Police have issued criminal warrants for Joseph Thompson, 25, for the shooting of a man at the Tailfeathers Piano Bar, 5975 Roswell Road on October 14 just after 2 am.  

Thompson and the victim, Rodriguez Price, got into a fight in the bar, according to police. Thompson allegedly later approached Price in the parking lot and shot him several times. Price is recovering from the wounds.

Thompson has knowledge of the warrants and is considered a fugitive from justice. He is considered armed and dangerous. The warrants charge Thompson with Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Assault, and weapons charges.

Joseph Thompson is 5’-11” and 280 pounds.
