Sandy Springs Police Car Hit on Northridge Road

A Sandy Springs Police patrol car was struck from behind on Wednesday evening.

On Wednesday evening, a Sandy Springs Police patrol car was struck from behind by a vehicle that was struck by a third vehicle whose driver failed to notice that the cars had stopped. 

The accident happened at 350 Northridge Road. The officer was in the lane with emergency lights activated due to a road obstruction. The driver of the second car was transported with a foot injury.
