The diversity of the student body would be the most remarkable aspect of Amana Academy, except there's the exuberance among the pupils; their very own sign language; and the weekly stage presentation to other grades showing off what's been learned, that likely blends most differences.
The Fulton County Charter School in Alpharetta has attracted more interest from Sandy Springs families, lately, according to executive director Ehab Jaleel. The school is for students K-8.
In the attached video, Jaleel highlights the uniqueness of Amana, during "Grandparents and Special Friends Day," held last Friday.
Some family members lived as far away as Saudi Arabia.
